Is the door still open?

I don't know why

you're still on my mind,

why you cloud my thoughts

for days at a time

Even now,

I'm eager to see you

I can't believe

I still want to be with you.

After all this time

of asking myself "why?"

I can't stay mad,

even though you made me cry.

The sound of your name,

just the thought of you,

will make my heart beat

faster and faster

and you'll be on my mind

for hours and hours.

I've never felt this way

or this long before,

So I will pray

and hope

that you didn't lock the door.
