Oh Sleep Where Art Thou

Oh Sleep Where Art Thou

A Poem by Dutch
"

This poem is about SLEEP. Its elusive and desired nature.

"

Oh Sleep,

Where art thou?

Why come to me not as the Sirens song

Longing to be heard is your hypnotic melody

Descend upon me like a haze of comfort, Clouding my skies, Thickening the air.

Tucked under the covers I wonder " how can I seduce you into my bed"

Oh Sleep,

Mr Sandman has retired for the evening.. He’s been your sub ever since you went on early leave.

Oh  Sleep,

Bring me the right combination Ambien and Lunesta.  Providing me the drugs I need too shut down this 700 horse powered, Super charged, Micheal Rensitta Formula 51 race car engine I call my mind.

Oh Sleep,

Where art thou?
