Cat and a Cradle

Cat and a Cradle

A Poem by DrSprinkz73

There he was in the front seat of that car
Reachin' to lay my seat down with the swift pull of a lever
Positioning yourself over me like a mouse
May these feelings Go with the wind and
Forth from my mind flowing through the stems of
My nerves reaching my toes and finger tips
I feel him and his flaws are so invisible
That I may trace my lips unto his and fear no more
So we can join our hips and embrace 'til the fire needs no more
Mm like a waterfall and rushing tide
We push pull and flow deep within the pit of desire
That rests restlessly pounding yelling begging for release
I am his and lost to eternity so that I forget
Why I need guidance
Later I remember the exquisite little part of me dying
It's okay I've got eight more lives
I just won't lose them all to him
