An ode to a girl like no other

A lost soul i was

in a sea of misleading hope,

started to lose myself,

the waves made it hard to cope.

But you came out of nowhere

like a beacon in the night,

to save me from this storm,

and bring land back into my sight.

A mermaid so beautiful

you pulled me ashore,

and gave me a reason,

to make life worth living for.

And when i look back,

and think about that day,

a smile comes upon my face,

and baby, its there to stay.
