A Mother's Love

A Mother's Love

A Poem by Dragon Goddess Jenny
"

Another Poem dedicated to my Mom who passed away when I was 9.

"
Mothers teach you all they know
Their wisdom and knowledge they explain
But mothers can't explain how to deal with death
My mother was taken away from me when I was just a child
She was torn away from my loving arms so suddenly
My heart was deprived of a mother's love
No one to lead my life in the right direction
Her guiding hands helped me up when I stumbled
My heart has been shattered into a million tiny pieces
I can't fit the pieces back together, my life is amiss
My surrounding life is hindered by the fact of her death
I sadly miss her and think about her all the time
I'd give my life and all my worldly possessions to be with her for one minute
My only wish would be for her to be with me
Some say that I'm being selfish because I want her to be alive
I say that she meant the world to me and I love her with all my heart.
