Words never spoken

Words never spoken

A Poem by Drea

You took everything that was sacred
And set it on fire
Laughing as I tried to stop the flames
I was so afraid of you
But you wanted that, didn't you?
You never cared about me
You wanted to see me suffer pain
Again and again you lied to my face
As I try to give you my love
But you pushed me away
Over and over I forgave you
And time after time you ripped open my chest
And tore apart my heart
I hate you
I lay a awake crying
Alone at night
Praying to a God
I don't know is real
There is no light at the end of the tunnel
My own little personal rain cloud
And I'll keep sinking
Hoping for the peace that I need

I am so proud of you my darling lil niece. You work the metaphors to perfection and made us feel your pain. Keep writing and I will keep reading...love your Uncle X

It's hard when you not only lose a Faith in your loved ones and those close to you, but in the whole realm of faith and spirit. I do believe though that we Arehere for a reason, and we don't always know what that is until later. I do know that there are a lot of lessons in the pain we feel, and hopefully you learn to use the hard to make things better in the future. Hang in there. Peace really does come after we allow the wave of emotion to pass, not fighting feeling if it.
