Her Heart

In the shadows she is waiting

Waiting for the things that others

May fear

She jumps into the darkness

Only to find that she is now

Facing danger far beyond

Her wildest dreams

She weilds her sword with courage

And fear.

She is ready and willing to fight

Not only does she fight well

She fights even after she has fallen

Falling once, twice, never giving up

She's on her last breath

When you come to her aid

Out of embarrassment she slowly

Stands but falls

She lies there watching, unable to move

Everything goes black

She wakes in your arms in a forest

"Was this a dream?" she faintly asks

You shake your head with courage

Knowing, finally you've won her heart
