I am From...

I am From...

A Poem by Cerebriation

I am from up on the hill,
Tattered roads and beat up houses,
Fields and woods, good and bad.
Seemed kinda cursed out these eyes.

I am from ham and cheese omelets,
Hamburger steaks, sweet tea and casserole,
But sometimes I'm from nothing but
Ice cubes and empty space

I am from where life goes on,
From where we pull things out of thin air.
I'm from don't do that, don't do this,
from where everything is never bliss.

I am from where all are friends,
But also from where friends are lost.
Friends are gone but not forgotten,
Friends that cannot be replaced...........

Author's Note

Cerebriation
This was an assignment in English Composition II. Each stanza begins with "I am from" and had a different idea.
