WHAT IF…

 

What if I like you?

Would you feel the same?

What if I don’t know you yet?

Can I know your name?

 

What if I confessed my love for you?

Will you accept me for who I am?

What if we had a love oh so true?

Will I be your perfect man?

 

What if our flame suddenly burns so cold?

Will you find warmth from someone else?

What if you stayed?

Will we both still love ‘til we grow old?

 

What if all of this is just a dream?

Can I sleep longer for a minute or two?

What if I suddenly wake up?

Would I wake up beside you?

i like it.. i think that oh so true should take up another line tho doesnt flow with the rest of the poem
