I am Your Whisper

I am Your Whisper

A Poem by David Scott
"

The magic of listening and being heard.

"

I am the whisper

others do not hear.

They only see the beast tamed,

applauding a dancing coordination.

 Ah, but this animal is not tame;

a bestial heart pumps within.

Protecting with a ferociousness

you only experience in our love.

 At first I am only

the tickle of a gentle breeze,

tempestuously rising

 in the passion of you.

We ride the Elysium fields,

while mortal creatures sleep.

Wild

I am collared,

captured by your listening ear.

Within you, this whisper stirs

a vibration of harmonic pulse

until the sky is split.

Torrential is the song of our union,

raining until the cloud is spent,

I hover within you,

a foggy melody of recognition.

Your lips kiss me good morning

as I slip past your tongue,

I am

your breath of life;

your whisper.

This is not the kind of whisper that should be ignored, this wildness inside, seeking allowance to unleash and take, the controlled and uncontrolled ride. Don't hold back, the passion... Very cool, the reader could allow this to mean whatever passion, desire, that is just under the skin, wanting to be set loose...

Hey, I had to revenge... tit 4 tat :-)
love the last three lines...

all of this is powerful...love can make us feel like a wild animal that is sometimes tame but other times uncontrollable ..love can do that.

love how this goes in and out of fierceness and a docile state.

Thank you kindly for the review and the applause. :)
The volume of our words doesn't matter, those who care about us will hear even the faintest of our thoughts, hopes and desires.

Wow Scott, this is really outstanding, I adore it first word to last, it's edgy and stirring, and seriously affecting. You did split the sky with this one my friend.

Now this is one beautiful piece of poetry my friend. This entire work was soft as a whisper but spoke volumes from the heart.

Loved, "A vibration in harmonic pulse"

This read extremely smoothly and had a very comforting feel to it. Very nice David.
