Random Words Some Call Jibber Jabber

Random Words Some Call Jibber Jabber

A Poem by Dushyant Thadani

Among the thousand pointless words
That we always left unsaid
That we feared would not make any sense
Keeping quiet about them in fret
Could actually spell some wonder

It was some form of jibber-jabber
That got me hooked onto listening
Just listening to a random person
Passing by me in some bus route
Or in some group whom I eavesdropped
Which actually made sense
Though in their head it might not have

It actually is something human
To pointlessly neglect a few words said
And then let them just be cleared from our hair
Out of some kind of shame
Or some pre-conceived notion called common sense
Which still does not justify to drop off a thought

This goldmine that we have called our mouth
Can actually give a sound to our thoughts
Which could change someone's life as they know it
And make them more honest and open
To new stories and development

Next time you randomly speak something
Please don't ruin it by over thinking
It lost me quite a few chances at being lucky
Don't let that get to you too
