The Murderer.

The Murderer.

A Story by Jenna Marie

A young girl, about 17, sits in the cemetery and visits her lover. His death was tragic, so very tragic. She was lost for days, she still is. But his spirit, she believes, still lives with her every night. She's had dreams, of him lying in bed with her, but he does not move. She thinks she's lost her mind and that sanity is slipping through her hands slowly. As she lies in her bed, she hears a noise. She got up and looked out the window, there was nothing out there. She turned back to her bed. A little pebble knocked against her window. A man was standing outside. She rushed down the stairs and went out the door. He's gone. She turned back into the house, she knows she's lost her mind. "Hello.." A gentle voice calls. She turned back around and stared into the darkness. It was her lover. How could this be she thought, he was dead. Dreadful looking and yet he still looked very handsome as he was before. She whispers that she loves him and he whispers back that he loves her too. He holds out his arms.. She brings her body forward to him and holds him ever so tightly. He holds on tightly too, but one hand holds something unknown.. She notices. And she tries to escape from his deathly grip. But it is too late. He stabs her in her heart and leaves her there to rot. Her last words to him were "..but why? I loved you with all that I am..." He said nothing to her. He just grinned and walked into the foggy woods of the darkness.. She was left there, cold and alone
