Same Old Fight.

Same Old Fight.

A Poem by Jenna Marie

Every night, it's the same old fight.
You start by screaming at me,
Then I scream back.
Everything begins to escalate from then on.
When will we ever learn?
Every night, it's the same old fight.
After the chaotic rampage between us,
We don't talk for hours on end.
When will we ever learn?
Every night, it's the same old fight.
Days go by,
We finally talk.
When will we ever learn,
That we will end up in the,
Same old fight the next night.
Are we truly meant to last?
Is this the end of all I've ever wanted?
Every night, it's the same old fight.
But, yet the next night,
I'm right back to you.
When will I ever learn?
Am I just blinded by your persuasion?
Every night, it's the same old fight.
