Color of LoveA Poem by Breezie KaeWhen you think of love, you think of red, but when I think of love, I think of blue. That sweet, crystalline blue. Like the eyes of the first one I loved, like the color of the sky. Like the color that makes up all of us in our veins. Red may be passion, but blue is sweetness. That’s how I like to think of love. I like to think of love as spring, not that dreadful winter. Sure isn’t autumn, and summer’s just for fun. You can give me your yellows, your browns, blacks, and rust, but blue is the color of love. © 2010 Breezie KaeReviews
