Feelings :)

And the rain came falling

Down,

Down upon my soddon face,

My face which held both sorrow and joy

 

The rain came falling,

Down,

Down to the sea

Washing away, to the waves which carry our wisdom

 

The rain came falling

Down,

Down to me

To say hello, before the goodbye

 

And the rain came falling,

Falling,

Falling to the bone dry ground

To wash away the mistreated

And the rain came falling.

Lots of poems have this vague nebulous feeling about them, and thats a good thing, leaving the reader to find an individual response. Yet at the same time poetry can be incredibly precise; I must confess to having a wobble of worry at the line " To wash away the mistreated " I thought perhaps that line could have a tweak.
