Travel The World

Travel The World

A Poem by WayzWithWordz

Travel the World

I’m sitting in my private dwelling

With my girl, my world

We engage in a conversation

As she explains to me the topic of her meditation

Telling

Me that I am the reason why her world twirls

We cover every subject

Like a high school curriculum

And I have yet to object

And interject and inject any two cent

But she said since I got you in my presence

I should go head and present

And idea, a thought

That caught my imagination

And just that quick she has my fascination

“What is it baby?”

She says with confidence

“I want to travel”

By plan, by car, she said we can walk

She then told me

We could travel the world by watching T.V.

It didn’t matter as long as she was with me

With sadness erupting

She begins to explain her pain

How she feels as if I am hiding her

Disguising her with a friend’s outfit

She felt like she can’t seem to fit

In my life

She wants to get out and see that world

That she help me create

She wants to reach out to people with me

Now I’m feeling a bit guilty

Because she was right

We need to travel by day and stay together by night

She made me

Raised me

Paved the

Road that I have been traveling for the past few years

She held the tissue that caught the tears

Now I have to face my fears

And that is loosing her to the ones outside this room

How could I be so insecure?

About the one who provided the cure

For me during my sickest days

Who has supported me in so many ways?

I got to get over this childish phase

So I agreed

To indeed, travel the world with this beautiful girl

Because how could I clam such a beautiful pearl

It’s her heavenly influence that flows through me

And I will let her see the world in which she helped me create

But wait

Before you begin to think there is a physical person that close to me

Let me clarify it so you can see

That girl that I travel the world

With

Is nothing more than my poetry
