Venting Episode 1

Questions lay before exclamations

I am confidently confused beyond explanation

Because a series of events has occurred today, in way, that has be questioning God

And it may seem odd but the only justification that the surrounding people can come up with is; it happen for a reason

Call this treason against humanity but all that did was escalate my insanity

Because if another person say “it happened for a reason” imma punch them in the hair and I dare

They ask me why because I’m going to tell them “it happened for a reason, and the reason was because you gave me that shallow a*s philosophy after I informed you of a problem troubling me”

Because most things don’t just happen for a reason

It happens for a cause

So next time you think of repeating that phrase; pause

And take notice to my hand as I tightly grip air

And you may hear my whisper “I dare, you to say something I don’t like”

So just bite

Your tongue hard enough to spit blood because whether you say it or not you will spit blood

I don’t know if you are reading this or listening, you may think it’s a careless rant

But its one of the many pointless problems that plagues the mind of a poet

So go get

A new book or something to retrieve a new excerpt

So the next time you think you are a philosophical expert

You will have something to say that might actually make sense

And just maybe, your words may ease the mind of one left tense

But until then, I continue to seek help from minds so dense

I just go to another person to try and sell my problems

Because I don’t want to own it

And when you hear my tribulation don’t have a Bush Moment

And get caught up in words like lies

Instead dig deep and try to find a dictionary within the heart

And hit me with something real, because you know I would do the same for you

All I would like is a bit of guidance from beginning to end of some of the things that I go through

I'm going to tell them "it happened for a reason, and the reason was because you gave me that shallow a*s philosophy after I informed you of a problem troubling me"

This point made me giggle. This was a classic write. I liked the way you didn't force rhyme at the end of each line. You actually felt the rhythm of what you were trying to convey, and wrote it in a way you would say it. :O)

You showed a lot of talent in this. You have the ability to flow words together, and tell a story at the same time. I think this is a style you should pursue more often. It seems to be a great creative release for you. Rant or not.... I believe the best pieces written are rants. Rants equal a true emotion.

You must listen to hip hop, or have a love for hip hop.... this isn't a style just any person could attach to. Maybe that's what attracts me to the style.

I give you my kudos. Mad mad props. Keep me updated with your growth.....

Much love,
Li

I really love your writing style: I'm a huge monologue fan, and this is rather close. The intensity of what is said is amazing in contrast to the length of the piece. Excellent flow and ease while reading. Was this written as a song? As a spoken word piece, I really enjoyed it.

Keep up the good work, and send me a read request if you post any others.
