The Lines On Her Wrist

The Lines On Her Wrist

A Poem by Dy
"

It has been awhile, I have been going through things and have not been able to write. Let us see if I still have it in me to put my thoughts into words.

"
The lines on her wrist
Show me her sadness
The look in her eyes
Show me her desperation
The smile on her face
Shows me the lies
Am I the only one that sees?
Am I the only one that cares?
No matter, I will still be there
Because the lines on her wrist
Reminds me of where I have been
Because the look in her eyes
Reminds me of what it felt like
Because the smile on her face
Reminds me of what I hid
Am I the only one that notices?
Am I only the only one that's there?
No matter, I will still be there
I will always be there
