TO CHARLIE

TO CHARLIE

A Poem by Eagle Cruagh
"

A lament to Charlie

"
TO CHARLIE

Charlie where are you
I see you in the cloudless sky
And in the morning dew
But in my rating I ask why

Why is it spelled Eau Claire
when it could have been Boscobel
Or Woodman`s corner
Don`t you want to tell ?

Well, this is all, Dear Charlie
You only earned these lines
I`m only doing this you know
To avoid paying fines

If my rating gets any lower
I`ll have to pay to stay
And you know I`m a lover
Of dear old Writer`s Cafe

Reminded me of the knight below the tower, calling up to repunzel!....but it was charlie, with really long hair....:)
Great write!
I agree Charlie should have a belly laugh and see that he is truly a great one for us here!
