THE SECRET

 

Do you want to be a great writer ?

A psychologist , a great musician ?

 

It is so damn simple that you won`t

believe it.  True, nobody believes it

that`s why nobody gets it.

 

My sainted Father set the stage for

me by saying, " an Irishman will never

say something in a few words when

a hundred words will do as well".

 

Years later, while kissing the Blarney

Stone, a perfunctory maneuver. Two

men lowered me through a hole in the

parapet of Blarney Castle.  A huge

stone juts out from the wall of the

castle and I kissed her.  This is alleged

to bestow on me the gift of gab, the

ability to speak fluently and with charm.

 

As I bestowed a kiss on the Blarney

stone, she kissed me back, passionately.

The stone was hot.  It was all I could do

to tear myself away from her.

As the men pulled me back out of the

hole they nodded significantly to each

other and one commented , under his

breath, " she bestowed".

 

The rest of the day swam before my eyes.

I changed.

Why do men do ?  Why are some men

blessed and others destined to lead dreary

lives ?  It is a secret because it is so simple

that no one wants to believe.

That`s it !   That`s all there is.  A truism.

 

Of course you have to begin life with a great

imagination.  As you dream your daydream you

see yourself as becoming someone great and

as the day nears, when you are about to be

anointed to greatness, you decide on becoming

something else.  Normal progression.  In your

mind you are still creating and the world is

developing around your dreams.

 

Then, you become obsessed with an idea, it

won`t change, you can`t shake it--- you are

creating the future of the world.  Steve Jobs,

Edison, Aristotle, anyone who has achieved.

 

Also creating their world are the unfortunate

people who think poorly of themselves.

A person wants to become a doctor, so a doctor

they become, but having no faith in themselves

they fight and argue internally, defeating the

vision of their world. They have created a poor

place , but of their making.

 

Now you know the secret---it is no secret.

The secret is out.  No need to get in line, your

dream is in your mind, dig it out, polish it,

improve it---But do it !

The possitive result of possitive thinking requires hard work to achieve. It takes more then an I think therefore I am attitude, but that attitude is certainly the right place to start on creating your own reality/world.
