In Accordance With Appalachia

In Accordance With Appalachia

A Poem by EARMUFFSandGLUE

A sporadic fog accumulates

across my line of sight,

as yet another emission

of frostbitten air bellows out

into a West Virginian sunset.

These weak Irish eyes catch glimpse

of Shenandoah etching

her way across the valley below,

while our hiking boots shift

through thawing snow,

creating a momentary impression.

A good description of what the view is like from "up on the mountain."
I think the title fits well.
This is a good thought and has good flow to it.
Keep writing.

It's probably best you don't know much (if anything) about me. The mysterious factor works wonders and is honestly more interesting than the redheaded mess bathed in sun blisters on the other end. more..
