Before my Eyes

Before my Eyes

A Poem by E.K.Donaldson

Before my eyes

You tell me lies

Before my eyes

You make your ties

Still you persist to tell these things

Still you persist to try to give me wings

Your insistant plead for me to sing

Your insistant plead for me to take the ring

Nothing could be more frightening

nothing could be more delighting

Could you promise these aren't lies

As you kneel before my eyes

About
I love writing all sorts of things. I am told that I am best at poetry. I am busy though, so I can't post much. I am also on Wattpad. However, most of the work I post here is there also. more..
