When Baby Turns Butterflies To Leaves


When baby sleeps in tranquil cuddles born to dance

Butterflies arrive in swirling morning color orange

On the branch standing only barren soft

Flowers wait in anticipation full of savory nectar

Bumbles know their way about their scent and flavor

Trees hang with spidery branches turned to empty brown

On their way to Winter before the snow sets in

The child thinks of winged insect beauty

Suspended in perpetual animation on each tree

Dreaming of butterflies like love upon a thought

Upon each branch as fluttering like leaves about
