Days In The Clouds

Days In The Clouds

A Poem by Earl Schumacker
"

When fog comes down nature follows

"

Days In The Clouds

Come clouds come away down

Just enough to see the future

Bring the sun sandwiched in news

Between yesterdays and tomorrows

With as much blue you can tolerate

Riding on those yellow beams bright

Allow the sky time to decide if night

Should be dressed in stars or moon

Or if the the day should have afternoons

Or simply covered in you my friend

A cloud a fog to come away down

Just enough to make me proud
