Life Expectancy Of An Egg

(An Oval Precaution)

Three minute eggs are soft

Hard boiled takes longer

Scrambled seem unjustly beaten

Fried is better on the flip

Sunny side ups are cracked up

All smiles in yellow and white

Poached take five minutes to simmer

Seems forever but what is the rush?

Nothing lasts forever

Liberal women have the fastest eggs

Fertilized then removed in seconds

Not always on the menu

But always on the agenda

Faster than you can say pregnant

Or Eggs Benedict's are complicated
