Nahamston - The Facts

Dear Mary-

I know it's been a few years since I've written to you, and I'm sorry for that. It's strange, really, when you look at a map, that Nahamston and Hartford seem so close to each other. Only a couple hours' drive. I could just as easily have picked up the phone, I guess. So I apologize for dropping off the face of the Earth as I have. I hope you aren't too mad at me. How are the children?

I suppose I should just get down to it. Last time we spoke, you mentioned that you were working at that historical archive in the city. I was hoping you might be able to locate some items for me in the old journals- I've stumbled across something very interesting and I think there may be information I need in your part of the world.

I know how unfair and ridiculous it is, to be silent for years and then suddenly need a favor. I would not ask if I didn't think it was important.

...something is wrong with Nahamston. 

Please reply soon. I'm so sorry for how I've been acting, but this can't wait. It just gets worse every day. I get worse every day.

Nahamston is a fictional little town I use in several of my works, this is just part of my stab at Lovecraftian horror tropes. Nothing serious.
