Contentment resisted by selfish thoughts
How did we become emotionally distraught

Did you get lost amongst the pixels?

With time our bed became lonely
No longer do you still hold me

Glorious now, I am your forgotten shame

Did you get lost in the heated grains?

My story's ended, you played your part
Standing on this broken heart

In honesty I wrote this when I was dating a guy that turned out to have other girlfriends all over the country. Every time I was away from him he would go on line and find another girl, which was why I mentioned the pixels and heated grains, in reference to a computer. I guess he felt like a king conquering so many woman.
