Perspective

Perspective

A Poem by Emma Claire

There are days where the platter of rain is deafening, the humidity is suffocating, and the feeling of wet socks is enough to make me cry.
These are the days where I indulge in misery.
There are days where the company of rain is humbling, the petrichor is calming, and the sensation of raindrops on my skin is invigorating.
These are the days where I indulge in life.

B
Its ironic how one thing can be seen in so many ways
Even people can be seen in so many ways

i say always pick the best way you can see anything

but you nailed perspective here
pretty cool

I believe rain gives us perspective. It certainly is music to this poets ears!

Good writing and good to meet you, Emma!

I really enjoyed this poem. It is so simple, but the choice of words and the format create depth and really bring out the meaning of the text.
