Pynopse of devinity

Pynopse of devinity

A Poem by Ed Rector

Poetry is a gesture of humiliation
set forth in thought
and released through exploding ink
an art form of the living
To ease our existence
that in which we crave near death
our breath may not outlast the ink
but a laugh will make you wonder
why death even came in the first place
and life begins again anew
some far off place
where the butterfly flapped it's wing
and i heard the whisper
"hell isn't that bad of a time.
ACTUALLY IT'S QUITE DEVINE."
