The government shoots me up

A Poem by Ed Rector

I am a mutation of society. The tap water screams from the living within. The dollar sign has us chasing the rich clinging on to our moderate existences. More Objects appear later than when visible to the nude eye. As death coils its needle in my arm i am feed a medicine to exist in society. without society i am labeled a waste for i did not contribute to society. I find myself indulged in society heading to a goal of a civilized man but i converge with people and the underbelly of society fills my time and is the dwelling of the common man. Within the common i find a unique summoning of the masses within groups of people that dwell together. thanks to you all my friends. for without you i am a mess and would surely parish. Here is to you for putting up with me. - Ed

Brilliant and not one bit over-stated. I myself find myself in a possible future conundrum. I have refused these shots for years...but once it becomes mandatory for my employment. Well lets just say I will feel like my humanity is being auctioned for another paycheck....sacrificing my personal beliefs to put food on the table...
