Foot long past the morgue

Foot long past the morgue

A Poem by Ed Rector
"

Routine Lapse pt. IV of X

"

Look at the beauty, when you lay yourself to sleep.
Gaze upon the beauty, the beauty on the wall.
Upon it you remember a women once in white
Whose friends and family gathered all together
After her final gasp and last glimpse of light.
Now you lay restless in the middle of the night,
Gazing upon the beauty you once held
That now lays only as a memory in your dwell.
