Distance Class

Distance Class

A Poem by Edgebrooke

"In the realm of peace, my mind finds rest,
With each breath that I take, tranquility blessed.
Through the noise and chaos, within silence I dive,
Meditation's embrace, my spirit alive.
Thoughts gently retreat, like ripples on a lake,
A stillness within, a tranquil landscape.
In the pure essence of stillness, I find solace,
Harmony restored, my inner world flawless.
Meditation, the key to unlock serenity's door,
Into the depths of mindfulness, I forever soar."

Yes, I agree about having patience with meditation but it has help me John The Baptist. And it's funny you mentioned the "monkey mind" I am currently reading a book at monks and meditation, and they mention that throughout the book at time.

Yes, we seek the solace of stillness, and meditation is one of the best ways to find it. You have to have patience, though, because that restless "monkey mind" equates stillness with death.
