ProximityA Poem by Ethan ThompsonA poem about self awareness and thoughts that linger and surround the anxious
Proximity
They’re closing in on me, My mind has gone mad. These thoughts are troubling me, Thoughts I never used to have. They’re sharp and pointed Like fixed bayonets. Is life really this much of a test? They’re getting closer now, It’s hard to breathe. I’m surrounded and I’m struggling to see, Beyond these thoughts that torment me If only. I was set free © 2019 Ethan ThompsonAuthor's Note
