Lie

isn't it an ugly thought to hide
isn't the thought of hiding ugly

aren't you ashamed of yourself
for yourself to yourself it can't be helped

the situation called for changes in my mental structure
I'm the same person only better

I'm the way I'm meant to be I built myself
from he bottom up I am my god that doeth no free will

because to lie is ugly
to lie kills beauty

This poems short, but still delivers a powerful message. You are right, lying is ugly, but it's something that almost all of us do at least once during our lives, regardless of whether we are good or bad. You've written a poem with quite a powerful message here. Good job! :)
