Nightfall steal

Nightfall steal

A Poem by Effector Prime
"

out of nowhere

"

Willows sighing in the wind

For their lost youth

I've been observing for many hours now

But no one cares

Time has changed the person they be should

Slowly, you puff through gaps in the ceiling

Smooth and silent, eyes closed, you murmur

Stealing in

Stands on end my hair

Silently stealing in

You! Darkness, what do you want for the light you murder?

The wash of conscience you extinguish, maketh you strong

But how did you steal out of nowhere?

How you move with eyes closed

Oh darkness. Oh heavy, boundless, ocean of despair

Whom do you wait for?

Soon it will be time for you to be gone

You wont be here for long

Soon, it will be time. Be gone

I liked the logic and the thoughts in the poetry. The battle of night and day. You brought to life in the poetry. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
