I’m the Invisible girl

I can have a mental breakdown after school

And the next day, you won’t even know it

I can cover my body in cuts

And you won’t even see it

I could have a brilliant idea

But I won’t say it

I can hate something you do

But I won’t object

I could despise you with all of my soul

Or Love you with all of my heart

But I’ll just sit here quietly

Because no matter what I do

I know I will not be noticed,

 

I’m a Camellia blossom,

A fragrantless flower,

I blend in with the wallpaper

I’ll do what you want,

And not what I want

Because I want to make you smile

If you ask for my opinion,

I won’t give it,

Instead, I’ll say what you want to hear

If you compliment me,

I’ll turn you down

For I am the Invisible Girl

 

I’ll smile at you,

But on the inside I’m crying

I’ll stand strong,

But I quiver with fear,

There’s only a few,

Who see who I am,

But most just look through me,

For I am the Invisible Girl
