Wishes of the Miserable

Wishes of the Miserable

A Poem by Elaenor Aisling

Leave, she said

He did, the darkness in his soul

Guiding him from the sickly glow

           Of her spirit

To the total abyss of his mind,

Gloom gripped his heartstrings

                                    And dragged him along

            A thousand paltry wishes spilling

From the cleaved chest, she once rested slender shoulders

          Against.

Author's Note

Elaenor Aisling
Kind of an experiment with a new style, just needed to write, didn't know what to write about, so if it's not my best work, please understand.
