He Loves Me Not

He Loves Me Not

A Poem by Elexis123
"

About a person using the inanimate object

"

Why did this have to happen to me?
I don’t know what to do anymore
I don’t know how I can go on now
How could he do this to me?
To us
How did we fall off?
How did we lose the love?
As I walk in this lonely meadow of beautiful flowers
 I think to myself
Was it beauty that caused him to stray away?
Or was it just simply me
As I walk alone and think
I wonder
Maybe he made a mistake
Maybe fate wants us to be together
Let me test our fate and see if we were meant to be
This flower holds our fate as I pick it up
I remove each petal one by one
He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
 He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me NOT
What!
I can’t believe this
I guess fate made its final decision
I guess we were meant to break up
It wasn’t meant to be
No more us
No more forever
No more anything

Fate is cruel sometimes. But thanks so much for sharing with us.

I love this poem very much and I can actually see myself doing that. Fate is like flower petals. They decide the final decision
