Cool

Cool

A Poem by frnd

Leaves

slide

slowly,

smoothly,

down

down

down

to

the

cold,

cool,

contemptuous

ground.

The earth holds tightly to all she can grasp

Never letting go of the things that have come to pass.

Secrets

Secrete,

Sever,

Relationships

Love,

Lost,

Lingers

In the permeable air.

At first I thought this was going to be a nature poem,
but it turned out to be so much more. One thing I was
wondering though.......What does the SCSCSC mean???

Thanks for sharing a thought.

Honestly, I just didn't have a title. It was for English class and I had to do a poem that featured alliteration. This one did. Hhhmm...I should probably give it a better title.

Nice play on design and words. I'm still confused about the title. Care to elaborate?

Thanks,

MM

About
I am looking for a way to express what I feel; I need some kind of a way to be free of all that cluters my mind. For this I turn to writing as well as reading. I love to be outside and find the beauty.. more..
