Blue flax

Blue flax

A Poem by Elizabeth

Little blue flax, So simply plain
Im hoping it will rain
So you can grow again, I will admire your beauty
When the seasons over, Ill let you retire
Little blue flax
You inspire, Make me desire
Come back next spring, Bring all the happiness you can bring
If you were human, I would make you my king
Blue flax, Love you to the max

'When the season's over, I will let you retire'..To appreciate the beauty of the moment and its transience and let it go when the time comes.
Loved reading it.
