What up!?

What up!?

A Poem by Ellen Mary
"

Mind vomit :)

"
We're all riding on our own little roller coasters
Controlled by
Our surroundings
Our interactions our action and reactions
Our choices

Beginning with an optimistic smile on our faces
And the buckles or restraints as they would be called,
hopefully they are strapped tight
Someone decides to sit beside you
And you might be grateful for the company

With a jerky start
The ride begins
And whoever you are
You might be nervous
Excited
Squirming in your seat ready to have the wind blow past your face
And for your heart to jump inside of you while you make your quick descent
You may be fearful, unreasonably so

Up up up and away we go
The tension and apprehension builds as we climb higher and higher

Scream, one, two, three!
Some put their hands up
Your cheeks are pulled back but you aren't fooled, because you aren't smiling
The wind dries your eyes and you want to cry
Like the kids behind you
You breath only to scream some more

AH
And finally the ascent
And descent are over
Relief in every step
And a euphoria

And all we can do is laugh because it's over
