Lunar

Lunar

A Poem by Ellusen

My moon,

how untouchable you are.

Your gentleness craved

during the harsh light of day

and your beauty so pure

I dare not touch it at night

in fear of disturbing

the flow of emotion

ever-inspired

by your waxing and waning face.

This is so simple and clean, which I appreciate. I am a bit confused by the last line, assuming you are not literally talking about the moon. I think this poem would look a bit better without punctuation since it is center aligned; the line breaks are already set naturally enough that they act as punctuation. However, if you are going to use punctuation, you are missing a handful of commas.
