Insomnia Thoughts

Living the life of an insomniac,

never sleeping, but always waking.

Thoughts always flowing through my mind as the day slowly turn into years as my eyes stay open...gazing at the darkened sky filled with the stars that shine so bright.

Trying to concentrate on other things than life itself,

but nothing seems to work.

Life is all around you,

eating you alive.

You hold your breath as cold wind rushes past,

you don't say anything as people figures soar overhead...
