Small Thing-Big Space-Nothing

Small Thing-Big Space-Nothing

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I wish to be
A star in the biggest galaxy.
Something so small in a large space.
It is considered nothing important
That small thing.
That's what I am
Nothing.
I wish to not exist
In this stupid place.
People are selfish
And no one seems to care.
I am myself
And I don't expect anything.
I don't shed tears
I want no sympathy for my hurt.

Another poem many can relate to. This is how it is at certain times in life.

I think some people are selfish but not all. There's a lot of emotion showing through this poem. great piece of writing

People are selfish creatures by nature. But that doesn't mean you're unimportant. You can be a great influence in someone's life and not even know it, even in a really big galaxy you could be the star someone wishes on. Just keep being you. The poem is good. It has emotion that is almost slight, to make it seem like nothing, but words that make it mean so much more.
