Hidden Pain

Hidden Pain

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

To me
This life is nothing.
I am nothing.
I pretend that I'm okay
When I'm really not.
I hold in my emotions
So people won't see my pain.
The paper holds my secrets
And hidden pain.
It is nothing special
But it is nothing.

Very lonely poem...I'm sure many can relate...but one must not only dwell on the loneliness he or she feels, seek out to touch someone and you may find you're not alone.

I can really relat to this. holding in my emotions and pretending everything is okay it a trick i have learned to do well. The paper and pencil are my only confidence sometimes. It never judges what you say and it always listens to everything you have to say. Great Write!
