Protection

A band-aid
To cover up the hurt.
The scar that was made
Needed to fade.
I have to cover it
So it would heal safely.
For now
I am safe from danger.
My band-aid
Will be my protection.

Amazing. I like how this can have different meanings etc. It reminds me of (i think the movie Crash?) where the girl wears the invisble protection coat her father gave here.

and then, someone starts shooting at the father, carrying his daughter , and she's all right.
