Truth Is

The truth
Is what we seek
When we feel lost
Alone
Dead
Confused
Beaten and torn.
The truth is never pretty
But it is what it is.
It helps us on the road
To finding ourselves.
Lots of us
Are lost forever
And never to be found.
But we can change
If we learn to live with and accept the truth.
The truth makes us better
It heals us, covers up the scars.
