Worth the Wait?

Is it worth it
To wait for you?
At many times
I wish to forget you.
But I know
I'll be hurt even more.

I don't understand
You're reason for ignoring me so.
I can't stay mad at you
Because I admit
That I will never forget you.

You are everything I live for
And I can't lose you like this.
It hurts me
That you treat me this way.

I wish things were better
Back to the way they used to be.
Tell me what I must do
To make you love me
As I love you.

Love not returned to the extent it is given. So many a night sleepless and wondering what I did wrong, what was wrong with me.. why I wasn't loved. It took years to realize that in even in a perfect storm.. love given isn't always returned and finding true love is never a perfect storm. Live, Love and Laugh.. through the pain and hidden tears of love lost.

I know EXACTLY how you feel, and what your talking about in the poem..So much it hurt reading this poem..This poem was beautiful..The confusion between- waiting for the person who might never come..or leaving not knowing what will have happen if you wanted. I really liked the last stanza- specially the last sentence
'Tell me what I must do to make you love me as I love you'. Awesome poem.
