This pain eats at me.
That's why I
Refuse to sleep at night.
I fear of losing you
And shutting my eyes
Would bring me those terrible nightmares.
I never wanted things
To be this way between us.
I wish to be close to you
Forever.
Even when the time comes
I will never be ready to let go.

This was well expressed, I do agree with Selene...

Looking through some of your poems I get the feeling you need to read more poetry. I'm not talking about poetry on this site, because some people can produce some real doggerel.

Rather go to a library and investigate poets like Anne Michaels, Ted Hughes, and Seamus Heaney. People who sculpt rich and publishable images. You've got a great style, although a little exposure always simulates more and more growth (in my experience anyway).

A poets muse.. love lost, pain, suffering.. it is what fuels creativity, but at the same time pushes us into reality. We creative types express our struggles though our words.. yours reach out and punch hard at me, which means it is good, but also makes me feel your pain, love given and possibility of loss of a love that was freely and completely given.. now to move on.. and let in be a part of you.. not make you what you are, but DRIVE you forward into the unknown and the possibility of better??!!

what should i say ? what do you expect me to say ?? i know how it feels .. every moment is a pain .. we smile just to let our family and friends know that we are doing okay . but inside the emptiness is whining ... just want to say that you aren't alone dear .. and yeah i am a man ... heartfelt emotions are always special no matter what kind of words they are poured into . keep writing and sharing
