Who is the one

You live for?

The one

You are willing

To bleed for?

He is your life

Your furture.

He is that part of you

You can't lose.

The one you fear

Is too perfect.

He is like no other.

Too different even

To comprehend at times.

You are convinced

He cannot be "the one"

For you.

So sad. It's interesting, because until the last few lines, the reader is expecting that the point of the poem is something else..the opposite. So I like how you turned that around so smoothly.
